What Is Live-In Care?

Live-in care is when a home care aide (HCA or caregiver) lives with your loved one who is in need of care for 12-16 hr per day. The home care aide provides around-the-clock assistance and support with daily tasks, along with specific tasks and preferences from your loved one’s personal care plan.

Live-in caregivers are required to take breaks and rest periods, typically having their own designated sleeping area for when your loved one does not require assistance.

What is 24 Hour Care?

24 hour care involves a team of caregivers rotating 8 hr shifts- who provide continuous care throughout the day and night with NO resting periods. This means that there will always be a caregiver available to assist your loved one at any time of day or night.
